The Holiday Inn on Padre Island is nice. Right on the gulf.

The Flour Bluff side of the SPID turnaround is good for a night or two, and it's close to everything.

In Corpus, the Bayfront Inn is "down and dirty" but in a good location downtown, right near the bay.

Depending on the # of people, you might want to try out Fortuna Bay Bed and Breakfast.

Reasonable prices...very nice location.

Look it up on the web.

Look at the beautiful Padre Motel just right around the corner from the Oso Bay turnaround



this is actually a postcard up for bid on ebay btw
I'm tempted to bid on it for sentimental value

I think I actually stayed there one night when my family came up there from alice to pick up a sailboat from in the Bluff.
