The fog yesterday was strange. It would be sunny and hot one minute and socked in the next. The fog was kind of intermittent and I think that is what caused the problem. It might have been clear at Scholes and zero visibility at the crash sits, even though they are really close to each other.

It was 0.24 miles of visibility at Scholes and the law requires 0.5 miles to land.
