We got rocked near Jersey village about 11:15 last night

when they did a few years back, i guess the "objective" wasn't too far from our house. you could hear barrages of full auto in the distance.

If you live by hooks, this happens almost everyday. Pretty annoying at 10 at night

If you live close to the Med Center, you kind of get used to Life Flight coming in low and hot.

In the last year, I figured out Flight Aware I'm now apparently right on a new route Victoria Air Ambulance uses that goes pretty directly over the house a lot of nights.

A life flight chopper sounds like a RC toy compared to this. You'll think the percussion section of the FTAB was in your attic when eight Blackhawk's fly over your house at 200'.

Should have paid attention. A combined local and federal exercise, including helicopters, was announced a week ago.

Life flight is nowhere near as loud as two little birds followed closely in formation by 2 black hawks ripping right over the tree tops.

This has been happening all week and it's wall shaking, dog scaring, wake up the kids kinda loud.

Kinda cool though that I can hear them coming from far away and think to myself 'Alright here they come'.

we live out west and training flights - I assume from Ellington but don't know - like to follow the brazos river... every so often they fly right over our house and it is legit loud!
