Kona Grill is in the Galleria and has a reverse happy hour. Canyon Cafe and El Patio are decent places to go as well for food and drinks.

Grille 5115 is pretty good. It is located in the sacs 5th ave at the galleria. There is a bar.

It's part of the ruggles family I think.

Canyon cafe has a good outdoor, upstair patio that over looks the galleria that would be decent place for drinks just bc of the view, but the foo is awful.

I'd go Kona Grill for sushi, Acadora for seafood, or Del Friscos for nice steakhouse.

There's a McCormick & Schmicks there also, which isn't quite as expensive as Del Friscos and also has good seafood and a bar.

Depends on what you want. Here are some that I have eaten at that I would go to again or recommend:

Outside of the Galleria, there is Jenni's Noodle House which is a casual place to eat pho, soup, spring rolls and such but I don't think they serve alcohol.

Kenny & Ziggy's has some great Jewish/Yiddish type food but again, I don't think they serve alcohol.

Maggiano's Little Italy is a nice place and you can go from casual to dressy. They have a bar at the front of the restaurant.

The same applies to Grand Lux Cafe. My opinion is that the location here has a 'Casa Blanca' type look.

Americas has a trendy Central American decor with Central- and Southern-American food. Think of a higher end version of the Amazon Grill...

If you are in the mood for something Greek/Mediterranean, there is Yia Yia Mary's which is part of the Papas empire.

For pizza, salads and drinks, you can hit up California Pizza Kitchen.

Here is a list of businesses in the Galleria from Simon Malls - choose the section titled 'Restaurants (Order via wait staff)'. The ones you'll most likely be intersted in are Kona Grill (mentioned above), Cheesecake Factory, Zucchini's, Daily Grill, etc. These are all nice but casual. If you don't mind eating on the lower level (rink level), there is Chili's, Ninfa's and Rainforest Cafe among others.

Asks for a place with booze by galleria and Arminius first suggests a place not by the galleria that doesn't serve alcohol.

Texags. Helpful as always.

After all of the hype, Maggiano's wasn't quite what I had heard it was.

Who is hyping maggiano's? It's a half step up from macaroni grill/carabas.

Yeah, Maggiano's is like Olive Garden, the Chili's of Italian food. Is it great? No. Is it mediocre but you know it will be mediocre and not terrible? Most definately.

Generally the best thing about Maggiano's is the bar.

Masraff's, Del Frisco's, Tango & Malbec, Sage 400 all good. Best kept food secret- The Verve Restaurant at the Galleria Tennis & Athletic Club. Excellent food and reasonably priced. The restaurant is open to the public.
