How long do you want to ignore this user?
My Wife '08 and I '07, are moving into the Rough Hollow neighborhood with our 3 kids. Trying to setup utilities and it looks like we have a couple of options for internet:
-AT&T Fiber
-Spectrum

Anyone have experience with either of these in that area either good or bad?

Would love to meet any other Ags that live in the area.

We are in Flintrock Falls and have Spectrum at home and at my office on 620. Service is ok. We have the highest speed package and sometimes at night it will slow, and even stop during a movie to buffer, but not for long. Not sure AT&T was an option when we moved here. Haven't had any real outages to deal with in 1.5 years. Mobile app is user friendly and customer service is helpful when needed.

We are across the lake in Lago Vista. Had Spectrum for a few years and would have it drop out randomly throughout the day while working. Switched to Verizon 5G a few months ago and it has been rock solid, plus cheaper. Spectrum will slowly work your pricing higher and higher.

Welcome to the area! We moved into Falconhead West near you earlier this year. All the research and advice I got from previous owners and neighbors was to go with AT&T. We got the fastest available, and it has been pretty solid and reliable so far after a few months.

We have 2 kids streaming Netflix and on iPads with both of us on video calls all at the same time, etc. The key was getting a good tech out to set it all up with extenders correctly. Only issue was that the first tech that came out was a mess and left without it being set up right. Got a different guy out that was top notch and all good.

Good luck, moving sucks!

We've had Spectrum for years. Service and customer service have been great.

Don't think AT&T fiber is available in large parts of LV.

I would go that route if I could.

if you can get AT&T, they are more likely to offer pricing than Spectrum. At my house in Jonestown, we only Spectrum because AT&T stopped right before our place. Spectrum was fine. But, expensive and they really don't offer discounts.

I live very close to the Galleria. AT&T just finished installing fiber in our neighborhood a few months ago. They have been hitting everyone up pretty hard going door to door trying to get folks to switch. Think the main plan was $50 or 55/month guaranteed for the first 2 years. We have been with Spectrum the entire time and definitely experience the buffering issue when watching TV/movies. I have been considering making the change.

Hope you enjoy living out in Rough Hollow. We lived off Bee Creek Rd for 16 years before moving into Bee Cave 6 yrs ago. Loved having an acre of land and being 1/2 mile from Lake Travis, but I got very tired of the extra commute. Overall we love the area though!

Funny when you think a popular neighborhood with "Rough" in it's name.
