Winder was last seen on Feb. 25, and the next day, after she was reported missing, investigators found a significant amount of blood, indicating a likely serious injury, in a driveway on the same property where she was last seen along FM 974 on the Northeast side of Brazos County.
The sheriff's office said the amount of blood raises concern for her safety, and the driveway where it was found is located in a wooded area that is shielded from the line of sight of the residence on that property.
Samples were collected at the scene and submitted for forensic testing; the results were recently returned to investigators.

Breaking news is that blood found on a driveway matches Ms. Winder. It also stated that there was a lot of blood. Is three months the norm for matching and identifying when the evidence (the blood) is plentiful?
I hope it does not take years to solve this case.
