How big is that thing? Not sure I've seen one that big (pause - twss). That's good farm land. I hope they got paid handsomely.

There's a big one in Lamar County near Prairie Land/ Paris

Approaching 10,000 acres?
Several landowners

I was told the deal was 30 years. $350/acre, triple net with a 2% annual escalation and a Lloyds policy to clean up if it fails or expires without renewal.

It's off 190 between Hearne and Milano. I remember seeing solar something on one of the signs but yeah, it looks like a data center because I thought I saw rolls of fiber near the highway.

Everything I've found seems to indicate these are there to support Austin and College Station. One of them is a Google DC. Another is Oracle and Nvidia. Same usage for both though - GPUs for AI.

And above should say Milano. I think it's in Milam County. I got them mixed up.

It is in Milam County. It's part of Beaver Creek Ranch. It goes behind RC's ranch and comes back to the highway where it's high fence. I think the solar is just on the extreme west side.

That's a small one compared to some out there. The one near Paris mentioned above is absolutely massive. It's really five different facilities all linked together (Samson I, II, and III and Delilah I and II).

There's a pretty big one on the way to Temple on the side of 36 close to Heidenheimer.

I think they plan on putting some solar out at Alcoa to go with the data centers they are building there also.

As long as 44 Farms keeps buying up all of eastern Milam Co. we'll be good on not having them as bad as the blackland side of the county!

Milano Solar is a big one. There is a lot going on at Sandow lakes in Rockdale. Rumor has that Terafab could be there as well.

All it takes is a good hail storm then it pollutes great farmland.
