Looking for a list of good quality camps people would recommend for elementary aged kids. We don't have kids so don't keep up with this normally, but my niece and nephew and going to come visit, and it would be nice to have some things to keep them busy as opposed to sitting around the house. Any recommendations? We don't have set dates for them to come, so we'd probably shape the trip around activities that are available.

The cove has a surf camp that's weekly. I believe they go Mon-Thurs.

Brazos County 4-H has some interesting day camps.

Legends has a couple of camps with multiple sports each day.

Central Church has a sports camp.

Pretty sure the COCS runs some camps as well.

The university normally has all kinds of stuff.

Both of the high schools host summer sports camps for kids. They are usually 90 minutes per session, so just enough time to get them out and moving for a while. Affordable

YMCA of the Brazos Valley will be doing a full summer of camps this year at two locations - Fellowship Church ($170/week) as well as Allen Academy ($240/week). 7 AM - 6 PM - K - 5th Grade. Scholarships are available at both camps!

Something I want to reiterate here is the scholarships. We truly do not ever want to turn a kid away from being able to be apart of the Y and their camps and activities. We want any kid in the Brazos valley to be apart of our camps and enjoy their summer.
