Not this year but just wondering what would somebody pay for a head of Romaine lettuce

I know the problem is it convenient and over quality and I agree alot of work to meet or drive for a head of lettuce

Anyway I look at Heb and they are at sometimes 3.09 but looks like crap

Mine were a bust this spring so I buy them from Wolff Farms at the farm market. I think he charges less than $3 but I'll check this weekend. I like his produce a lot, lettuce included.

Agree that lettuce at the grocery stores has not been of good/inconsistent for a few years now.

Honestly, lettuce is one of my hardest sales at the farmers market. I don't do mixes, just heads and people have gotten so used to just buying pre washed mixes that those that buy heads of lettuce have gotten less and less.
