I have no idea how to attack this but lately we almost can't even go into our backyard without getting eaten alive in the first 5 minutes. There seems to be a ton of options on Amazon or at Home Depot, but reviews are mixed on all of them. Don't want to spend a bunch of money on stuff that is junk. What's the consensus here on best sprays/foggers or options??

I have a pest control company that fogs once a month.
I have a DIY fogger that I use 1-2x a month.

Back yard is very shaded from some large old oak trees but the mosquitoes thrive.

Pest guys are recommending a $6k mister system around our yard and while I don't want to drop that cash, I want my yard back.

Bifen in a cheap fogger kit rigged to a backpack blower was the trick for us. I'll spray all the foliage, shrubs, and taller ground cover as often as needed to keep them under control.
Distant second was finding bug spray that works but isn't greasy so we'll actually use it when sitting outside. Picaridin-based is better than most DEET sprays although Off Skin so Soft works and is not oily.

Bifen XTS.
Ortho Dial-a-Spray hose end sprayer.

Just ordered a gallon of Bifen off Amazon. I'll try House end Ortho sprayer first and if needed, get a fogger kit for my blower.

Bifen gets good reviews. Hope it works. We are miserable after 5 seconds of being outside.

We had a mosquito in the backyard last month. I wanted to smack it, but my hands were full. Haven't seen her since.

If the upcoming monsoon season is as active as they are predicting, we will have a few more mosquitos by the middle of the Summer. Guess I should buy a can of Off or somethin'......
