Out in Fayette county to do some lead supplemental feeding of the local bacon population.

Thank the lord for this zero breeze mark 4. I won't go so far to say that it's comfortable yet, but it's making the box blind bearable.

Shot one pig on the way in with the 300 blackout, it fell over then got up and ran into the woods, will go look for it later, don't want to stomp all through the area, but don't think that one will survive for long. The rest of them will be getting the 7rem mag to reduce tracking to zero hopefully.

Scattered storm system blowing through, bringing some nice cool air and should get the pigs moving around out of the creek bottoms

Batteries for the mark 3 are expensive...and it's 22 lbs without Batteries...was it worth it?

I wouldn't want to lug it a long way, but this blind is on a spoil hill from a pond and you can park very close to it. Definitely took the edge off the heat, if the blind was in the shade it would probably be downright cool. Setup was a little janky though, intake was right next to the exhaust so wasn't getting the coldest air out of it. Not my blind so just had to make do.

How was the noise level? I have been considering one to use for cooling down our roof top tent at night for camping in warmer weather. I have read it is like white noise from a hepa room air filter level, but was never sure how much to trust that.

Got bullets into 3 pigs total. Wind was bad this am, so had to pop this one as they were winding us and running.

Got a couple nest burglars with hand traps. All in all, not a bad mornings work!

Place I was hog hunting is in the western half too. It's a friends lease that I was on prior to my current place, and still help out when there are feeders to fill and pigs to kill. Deer was taken at a different property though. Not trying to be cagey, but not gonna give out anything more than that on location, as landowner has had issues in the past and I want to be respectful of that, and it's a good setup for me there.

That said, I get over to the Cistern General Store as often as I can rally the troops in archery season. That place hits the spot when it's too hot to hunt the afternoon!

Dukes, although it's time to freshen those up with a wire brush, as the mechanism is getting a little stiff. Had them a long time, really has helped out the woodie and turkey numbers

He's about 5-10 miles from y'all. Not too far from us either. Helped him clean deer out there a couple years ago.
