Our family welcomed a litter of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies from our family dogs and we are now beginning the process of finding them loving, responsible homes.

The litter is being raised in our home with lots of love and socialization. They will receive:

1. Age appropriate vaccinations
2. Deworming
3. Vet wellness checks
4. Early socialization and handling

AKC certification is pending.

Puppies will be ready no sooner than June 30th at 8 weeks old.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and wonderful family companions.

Located in Metairie, LA (New Orleans area)

If interested, please contact me via Texags private message or, at five one 2- four one 3- six seven 64

Text or call works.

Litter was 6 females and 2 males.

Always loved the looks and heard great things about them. From a shedding standpoint how bad are they compared to a lab? Also any issues in Texas heat or should you keep them indoors most of the time?

I'm going to guess and yes it's shreds as much as a Lab. A big a*s lab.

Never owned a lab, so can't compare. They do shed. I owned a husky. Not as bad as a husky, but our 2 adults do shed.

We keep ours indoors. I would avoid keeping them outdoors. Their black fur gets hot. They prefer to be indoors.

My neighbors gave their twin daughters a Bernese for their 11th birthday. It's been going on 7 years since I first met 'Talu' when they first walked her by my house. She is a BEAUTIFUL pup who has grown into a fierce protector of HER girls, yet such a LOVABLE critter.

Sister has had 3 in Cleveland Ohio. Dog loves sitting most of the day on the snow. She has had 2 of them with health problems. Apparently there are lots of Amish that sell them. That said she loves them enough to get another

Correct. There are Amish breeders. We are neither. Ours are healthy.

Did not mean to insinuate anything. Wonderful dogs as well as a beautiful litter.

Posting on an internet message board is a pretty good clue you aren't Amish.

I didn't take it that way. Our adult male and female came from Amish breeders. We aren't breeders... just had an "accidental" litter.

Just confirming we aren't Amish or breeders.

The pups are cute as heck though!

When I had a 95 pound Lab my wife hated it. And to be fair after he passed it took 6 months of cleaning to get all the hair out of the house. He was a great dog though and we were very happy to have him.

Now we have no shed dogs. It costs money for grooming but well worth the money. A poodle and a mini Schnauzer.
