80 felt good today but the bass are deep and slow to bite. Will try again Sunday.

Throw a rattletrap or a chatterbait. I really think that old analogy of bass being sluggish in the winter is not true.

Thought about pinging you the other day but son being in HISD is off this coming week and we are headed out for a few days of skiing in keystone. Told him when he gets back while I work he has to prep and get all the mess he made organized for upcoming fishing!!

Fishing has been pretty good in the warmer stretches of winter on Conroe. Tons of shad in the creeks. Oddly enough not much bait moving yesterday tho. I think it's going to be a good year for bigger fish just based on the forage quantity I've seen this winter.
