Prefer it just be made not illegal. They can stop and start pursuing any time they want. Back in 2020, my shop and builder skirted all these laws by letting me core and install a new diesel engine in my 6.0. It's totally gutted. The builder custom built the motor for "off road use only" so they were clear. No EGR, vents to atmosphere, no cat…software written to accommodate. The catch was the shop allowed it because they weren't modifying the truck engine. They were simply replacing one engine for another. What it had it or didn't have wasn't their concern. Glad I did it but it wasn't cheap.

I'd still do deletes in the garage and STFU though.

Maybe one day the EPA will realize it's ridiculous and hurts the planet more than it helps.

I agree, the law needs to come off the books. As soon as democrats get back in office, they'll start pursuing criminal charges again.

We need to remove a lot of dumb laws off the books.
