Weird charges. Did he falsify ownership of a timber stand and have it harvested?

stupid and desperate. not a good combination.

September 14, 2024 in which Eddins is accused of harvesting standing timber without the effective consent of the owner

November 27, 2024 in which he's accused of making a materially false or misleading written statement to Southside Bank, namely by failing to disclose personal debts, with the intent to obtain credit, namely loans

Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair. He's charged with destroying records, namely text messages, with the intent to impair their availability as evidence.

If he did wrong, I have no problem with the arrest.

However, I have a list about 1000 people long of politicians, thieves, drunk drivers, etc etc who I want prosecuted before someone who shaded his loan app

exactly. banks have to do their due diligence and perform a risk assessment before handing out money. banks know there is motivation for people to not be completely honest with them about their assets, liabilities, and cash flow. you don't usually see people charged with 3rd degree felonies though ...so if this guy is being charged, I'm guessing it's probably pretty egregious. statements for his loan app may be tied to / related to a crime he's accused of, hence more charges added. perhaps he harvested timber that wasn't his and then told the bank he had all this timber property.

I think being overweight in law enforcement should also be a crime

Of all the officers on that program, that guy didn't seem to fit the mold (or the clothes). On a show where most of them were by the book, he seemed to be too much of a good ol' boy. I just assumed it was an East Texas thing.

A guy I knew in high school went to federal prison for a similar, but way more elaborate scheme and it was a real shame, because his original intent was a desperate move to save the family farm.

His father passed away not too long ago, as well. Went fishing by himself, had a medical incident and fell out of the boat. They found him face down in the water, I believe.

Their entire family is very much good ole boy. His brother, also a game warden but refused to go on the show, was always nice to me. Same with their dad. However, I was never involved with them more than sharing a lease and a number of camp fires.

He was arrested and few months ago. These are additional charges related to the original charges. Justin's lawyer said this was all a big misunderstanding after the first arrest. Starting to question that after they added more charges, but I guess we'll find out.

Looks more like he's been harvesting ice cream and gravy.
