Looking to take the jump into fletching my own arrows. Want something that can fletch with a helical, preferably with the ability to do different degrees so I can mess around with various combos.

Arizona ez fletch is appealing as it seems least intimidating, but not opposed to a bitz type setup…. OMP Phoenix is appealing as it seems more precise for helical degrees. Will eventually get arrow saw so I can completely build my own arrows, but a jig will help a lot for now.

Thanks in advance

I've been using a bitzenberger for almost 50 years. No complaints.

AZ EZ Fletch and twice on Sunday. Like all of them keep it clean, less glue is better.

I have a Bitz and have no complaints. But the OMP jig is tempting me and gets really good reviews. If I was buying for the first time, I'd seriously consider the OMP.

Bitzenberger.

The new OMP looks nice, but I've used the BItzenberger for years. I fletch right helical with it. I also have a straight clamp I use for arrows that might fly through a biscuit (kids arrows).

I started with an AZ EZ clamp for ease of entry. I wouldn't buy it again. It will gum up quickly and be more difficult to clean. It's also more difficult to correct small alignment issues when they happen. (My 2 cents.)

Username checks out. Was originally attracted to the AZ EZ for ease of use since I'm a beginner, but have read the same re: gumming up. Thinking will go with either bitz or OMP

AZ Easy Fletch. Quick and simple, but you have to keep the glue off it. Preventative maintenance makes it much easier.

Been tempted to move to a Bitz.

Another vote for bitz. Very easy to use.

I have ez fletch. If was great for first timer. But I want to try an OMP to put less than 5 degree helical on some dca vanes. But the ez fletch was really simple. Used mold z glue from triggered archery and it was really simple to do.
