How long do you want to ignore this user?
Howdy, was wondering if any of y'all know any good places for stargazing within 30 minutes of campus. Preferably actual parks or locations, and not just somewhere to pull off on the side of the road (although that is fine too, just not ideal). I know lake Bryan is a good location but they close at 8 during the winter. Will they kick you out, or is that not a strictly enforced rule?

Thanks!

I've had decent experiences out in Lick Creek Park when demoing night vision for clients. Preferably youd want to be as far from cities light pollution as possible.

Pretty sure they will kick you out as they lock the gate at night. However the restaurant/bar at the boat ramp is open until at least 10:00pm.
