Didnt like Fable or Fable 2. Didnt meet the hype imo. Will not be buying this one either.

Agreed and I hated the controls. Tried playing them a few years ago and they were not good.

I'll give this a look though depending on reviews.

The original Fable was notoriously gutted in development because they just couldn't do everything they wanted at the time on the original Xbox, but I still liked the game. I might check this out.

When they came out. I did beat Fable, I didn't make it very far in fable 2. I love KOTR.

The original Fable was absolutely amazing. I remember playing it on Xbox when it first came out. Loved that game.

The video seemed to feel like the Devs actually seem to love everything that made Fable great. They seem to have very lofty goals. Will be interesting to see how these mechanics actually work out. I'm cautiously optimistic...

Loved Fable 2. Hated Fable 3. I'm really excited for this.

This. They better have a character creator or make the character hot. Majority of consumers for these games are men. Men want to play a male character or hot female character. No man wants to play an ugly ass female character.

They have confirmed you can play as a male character in addition to other characters, though I don't think it's a character creator.

Gameplay looks fantastic. Just don't make me play as that ugly troll of a character.

I heard its been confirmed that you will be able to play as a male character. Not a character creator though.

I don't really care that much for a highly stylized fantasy game, I'm just making my call.

I just want a character creator, even if it's one with a few options.

If the game is fun, then it will do well. If it's not, it will tank. However, the very "nerdy" consumers of most video games like this are men. It blows my mind they wouldn't make the female character hot or at least "girl-next-door" cute. It's just a bad decision by the devs, imo. Especially with the years of backlash we've seen when studios do this vs the praise other studios get for just making games like they always have.

Gamers want hot female characters and badass muscular male characters. That's just the truth.

New gameplay demo. Haven't watched it yet, but right off the bat they are showing a very typical white male playable character.

Way to go MS, you did it, now all of us middle aged conservative men won't be triggered!!!

Sorta watched the demo as background while I work late... game looks to be shaping up really well. Only critique is facial animations look pretty stiff in the more randomized interactions. They didn't really match the dialogue or tone of the pig conversation, but LOL, a talking pig debate with a butcher. Good stuff.

But based on previous videos showing cut scenes, they have the tech to nail the facial stuff... hopefully they can tighten it up with the random conversations.

Not sure if this is my cup of tea... never played the originals either... but for fans of the series and genre this looks like it might be a big hit!
