Engineer I don't think I have C4 yet, but I remember in BF4 I would plant them on spawnable vehicles and once they rolled out BOOM! is that still possible?

Recon gets C4 in this game. Engineer has various different mines.

Man I love the C4 on recon. I got a triple kill by sneaking up on a tank yesterday.

Throw smoke nades on at the side of a tank. Run up with C4. Profit.

Finally had a few BF moments last night.

Shot my first heli down with an RPG

My fav moment tho was in a diff match I was just camping in the AA vehicle and was taking out the enemy choppers and jets left and right. It got to the point I was shouting out loud "NO FLY ZONE *****ES!!" Well the enemy team finally had enough as one of their snipers painted me and no lie SIX rockets came for me but I hopped out right before they all hit and I just ran away laughing.

Weapon balancing is hot garbage and I hope they address it.

DMRs are complete ass, and it's frustrating they hid other sniper weapons behind. At their useful range, even a slugged shotgun is better.

SMGs should not be able to beat Assault rifles and LMGs at mid range. But nope, they are lasers. I've even seen people running them with giant scopes.

Do we have a discord channel? EA is too trigger happy about banning people in chat and on mic. I need to be able to drop an occasional mother****er without an issue.

there are certain positions on blackwell fields where you can overlook a position with the AA and do some real damage. hell even in the armored troop transport with the 50 cal i sat just two nights ago and probably slayed about 25 troops in one life before the enemy had enough & rpg'd me. most people sleep on those troop transport guns but they can do some real damage if positioned right.

was thinking about this... you'd have to have a teammate to throw smoke -AND- C4 as support only has smoke and recon only has c4

We threw some c4s on the EOD robot and were driving it around and blowing people up. Good times.

Is the old reliable load a jeep or 4 wheeler up with C4 and drive it at a tank, bail and blow up strategy still viable? I did it a ton back in BF3.

Back in the old days I used to be an ******* and loaded up jets that spawned in that you had to take off from ground and blow them up as soon as they were wheels up.

I may have been invited before, but was through an old PC build and I haven't been on discord since I rebuilt.

Its bad enough you have to stare into the sun in Blackwell Fields, but they really have the sun setting in the south instead of the west. What a silly oversight.

They made big changes to the challenges. They are actually reasonable now.

They did revise a bunch of them and it was needed. Some of those were absurd at their original requirements.

Yep. Recon in particular. Hitting 100 headshots that must be kills to count with a DMR when you have to two tap to kill was ridiculous, then you have to turn around and hit 150 headshots at 200m with a normal sniper rilfe to unlock one of the weapons

So I made a discovery today while playing some HC portal matches. My PC has zero issues on portal servers. Every map runs flawlessly but official servers tank my PC in dense urban areas.

Totally weird

question for a casual, average player.

I play for fun, when i have time. im by no means good but There are some kills that are almost impossible to explain. long distance shots through walls. things from blocked angles, etc.

I'm curious if there are any hackers or cheaters who infiltrated the game? Not here but in general. I did some youtube searches and saw some evidence but I don't know how prevalent it is. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes there were cheaters even in the open beta. I will say they've done a better job than most cleaning it up

Does anyone run a shotgun as a main weapon on any class for a particular game mode? Which class suits that the best?

I was running the shotgun secondary on an assault while defending points in conquest, but I was running out of ammo quick. The shotgun was really fun to use so I'm thinking it might be a good main for being super aggressive on capturing and defending points.
