In town to call the Colts game.

My question: is Ray Lewis accounted for?

Apparently Sanchez was rolling dirty, broke into some dudes truck, got pepper sprayed and stabbed by a 69 year old guy.
We should never cede the moral high ground to people who justify the debasement of society as reparative justice and then lie to us about how, why and even whether it’s
being destroyed from within.

Evidently he was drunk, found his way to the loading dock of a hotel and got into an altercation with a delivery truck driver. As you mentioned, he was pepper sprayed and stabbed by the driver, evidently in self-defense.

Quite the reminder of how excessive alcohol consumption can affect a person. Looks like Sanchez was lucky to avoid a really serious injury and he's going to have to answer to a judge for his actions while intoxicated.

Reading more about this.
"A 69-year-old truck driver, parked at a hotel loading dock to collect used cooking oil, was confronted by Sanchez, who claimed the truck couldn't be there, citing the hotel manager."

What does Sanchez care about who parks in the loading dock? Even drunk? Must have been on something else.

When Mark Sanchez told the genie his wish was to "make people forget about the Butt Fumble" little did he know it was because they'd remember him for getting his ass kicked by a guy born in 1955.

Quote:

Sanchez, 38, suffered several stab wounds while Tole "suffered a severe laceration to the side of his face, penetrating all the way through his left cheek," according to court documents.

the picture of the cheek laceration in that article does look brutal.

what a bizarre story. how messed up was sanchez. wonder if he even remembers any of it.
Quote:

Sanchez allegedly climbed into the victim's truck and kept him from calling for help, according to court records.

The victim said Sanchez shoved him when he tried to get his phone, and he felt he was "in physical danger," so he pepper-sprayed Sanchez, according to court documents.

When Sanchez allegedly advanced toward him again, the victim said he thought, "this guy is trying to kill me," so he pulled out a knife, "and when Mr. Sanchez came at him," the victim stabbed Sanchez several times, according to court documents.

The victim said he went "flying back into the dumpster and falling onto the pallets on the ground," and that he "was not aware of what Mr. Sanchez was physically doing to him, whether he was punching him or otherwise striking him," court document said. The victim said he could only see Sanchez's feet "coming at him," and once the victim stood up, he stabbed Sanchez again, the documents said.

An attorney for Perry Tole told ABC News that Tole was the victim of a "violent," "unprovoked" attack from Mark Sanchez and tried to defend himself by stabbing the former NFL player.

Sanchez, a Fox Sports commentator, was initially arrested for multiple misdemeanors in connection with this weekend's confrontation in Indianapolis.

On Monday, after investigators learned of the severity of the victim's injuries, prosecutors announced Sanchez was also charged with a felony: battery involving serious bodily injury.

The incident unfolded early Saturday morning, when Sanchez allegedly approached Tole, who was doing his assigned work at a hotel loading dock and told him he couldn't park there, according to police and prosecutors.

Tole has filed a civil suit against Sanchez and Fox.

Why file a case against Fox Sports?

That makes it seem like a money grab…how is his employer in any way responsible?

Granted the guy looks messed up but it's pretty much a he said only case with Sanchez completely blacked out. Rey curious if there's footage from the loading dock of this hotel. Has to be

Maybe he's reaching for the fact that Fox should have some sort of professional work clause in Sanchez's contract about drinking and behavior within X of hours before he's on TV? Like an airline pilot not drinking before a flight? It sounds like a reach to me, but I'm sure it's fun to drag a giant name into your lawsuit

or... the old man who drives a cooking oil truck that got his cheek lacerated while stabbing a blacked out aggressive multi-millionaire who works for a multi-billion dollar company, along with his lawyer, see the incident as a lottery ticket for themselves. The man should be compensated - medical bills, lost wages, emotional damage, etc. and Sanchez will be prosecuted as he faces felony charges and supposedly more charges may come. ..but watch, the old man and his lawyer will end up settling civil suits for many millions of dollars with Sanchez and Fox because that's the litigious society we live in.

Get your cheek lacerated by a blacked out drugged up homeless man, tough luck. get your cheek lacerated by a blacked out drugged up rich guy = jackpot. life changing money. you're now a millionaire.

Sanchez is an idiot. Still a bizarre story to me. Waiting to hear what kind of drug and alcohol cocktails led to him being on a loading dock picking a fight with an old dude there to pick up cooking oil.

I think money grabs are BS, too. However, if you're wealthy and pull a stunt like this the victim deserves a very nice sum

Since Sanchez doesn't live in Indy, and he's there specifically for Fox in a work capacity, staying in a hotel paid for by Fox, and likely got drunk on a healthy per diem from Fox, I get why they're named. Whether or not he's on the clock probably doesn't matter to a certain extent. It's a civil suit, it's all a money grab, but on first glance I'd say Fox has some liability in the matter because he's their employee but Sanchez should owe the lion's share of the settlement.

Settlement? Sanchez needs to take it to trial and prove the driver shouldn't have been there and attacked Sanchez once the driver's plot was uncovered.

Unfortunately for Sanchez the driver is probably judgment proof.
