Howdy! Moore Supply in Brenham is looking for a warehouse teammate. The primary focus of this role will be as a non-CDL delivery driver, along with general warehouse responsibilities.
This position includes safely operating company trucks, loading and securing materials, reviewing shipping paperwork for accuracy, making deliveries to job sites and customer locations, unloading materials where the customer requests, collecting payments on cash sales when needed, and helping resolve any delivery discrepancies professionally and efficiently. The role also involves picking up materials from vendors or other locations, keeping the truck clean and in safe operating condition, completing required inspections and safety training, and supporting other related duties as assigned.
To qualify, the candidate must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, maintain a driving record that meets company standards, and be able to pass a DOT physical before starting work and every two years while in the role. This position requires the ability to drive a vehicle over 10,000 pounds as a non-CDL driver.
