We are a small 12 year old Civil Engineering Firm in Austin and looking for an EIT.

The individual will need to be living in Austin, or willing to relocate. They will also need to be a Certified Texas EIT (or able to achieve EIT Certification within 6 months).

Job Description
Utility Coordinator to help manage utilities on upcoming infrastructure and transportation projects. You'll work with utility owners, engineers, contractors, and city staff reviewers to identify utility conflicts early, helping projects stay on track and compliant with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities
-Review plans to ensure they meet UCM and AULCC requirements
-Identify locations of existing and proposed utilities from engineering plans
-Facilitate discussion between COA Reviewers, Design Engineers, Utility Owners, Project Managers, and Contractors
-Identify utility coordination opportunities for projects within the same project area
-Process new UC Applications, UC Resubmittals, and UC Completeness Letters
-Create weekly AULCC meeting agenda. Schedule and host AULCC meetings every Thursday.
