Howdy. Just got my dear John letter as part of a reduction in force, effective immediately and I am now in search of a new opportunity.

Aggie, BS and PhD in Analytical Chemistry.
17 years of experience, primarily with R&D and project management in the chemical industry, but have also worked in instrumental design and pharmaceutical testing. Currently live in Georgetown so would have a preference towards something in the area but would be willing to locate back to Houston for the correct opportunity.

Not sure how your experience might fit in with this, but I was recently at a meeting where they were discussing over 100 different Samsung suppliers that will have to find space within an hour of Taylor by the end of 26. Some examples that were given with a few different suppliers of different chemicals used in their processes. Wilco and several surrounding counties are currently making trips to Korea to try to land these companies in their respective locations. I have no idea how you would search for a job with a Korean chemical company but your post made me think of that.

I have a buddy who works for Ecolab, and although I did not work on water treatment directly, I worked adjacent to that space. Lots of need for that in Central Texas with all the development so I'm hoping I can tie this in somehow.
