I like him in small doses. He's getting better but he is a level 4/10 of funny compare to Chappell and Gervais. He hasn't quite figured out how to deliver the joke and make the show not fatiguing yet. It's funny but it's also vindictive and angry. It's not fully baked. But, I do think in a 10 years he'll probably be a lot better.
To me he is like Marc Maron but for the right. He's only funny because I lean right, if I didn't, well, he's be miserable to watch like Maron.
Gervais is funny no matter what. He can make left wing politics and hit it the right way that everyone laughs. It's a gift very few comedians possess but that's why you see him on Netflix and hbo and everyone else on Facebook. Gotta start somewhere.
