Trump commutes his son from a federal sentence of drug charges. Ordered his release from his 8 year prison sentence. Guess Trump bought the 100% loyalty of Womack.

Ok. I'm old enough to remember a Vice President whose son was flying on AF2 to do business in communist countries.

More Pardons

Quote:

President Donald Trump issued a flurry of pardons in recent days, including for the father of a large donor to his super PAC, a former governor of Puerto Rico and a woman whose sentence he commuted during his first term but who ended up back in prison for a different scheme.

Quote:

Also involved in the case was banker Julio Herrera Velutini, whose daughter, Isabela Herrera, donated $2.5 million to Trump's MAGA Inc. super PAC in 2024, and gave the group an additional $1 million last summer. The case's third defendant was former FBI agent Mark Rossini, who was also pardoned by the president.

So is the going rate for a pardon $3.5m? I think Trevor Milton only donated like 800K. There is now telling how much of this happens via Trump coin.

Looks like pardons are the subject of the latest talking points blast.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Rapier you are a better poster than this and you have shown you don't blindly support Trump on every single issue. Conservatives should call out practices like these pardons. Both for Biden and Trump.

I would assume so. Nothing the left whines about is organic.

Trump's a piker. Mark Rich gave the Clintons millions...25 years ago.

TDS sufferers were silent.

We now have two classes of people: those that commit crimes and receive pardons...and everyone else.

The republic will not survive this type of corruption.

Cohen has been out saying he was "pressured" by Big Tish and Fat Boy Bragg to go against Trump.

Cohen is a grade A loser. And Trump does have a record at least through the end of Trump 1.0 to allow shady ****s like Cohen to get way too close to the inner circle and it costs him.

He seems to have improved in this area a bit, but it seems there are still those who fly to close to the Trump sun and when things turn the wings melt away quickly.

And so far with the pardons it seems that when you look at the individual cases and their backgrounds in depth you can understand the rationale for the pardons outside of the money.

The money is a factor but people should understand the money often provides the opportunity to have someone look into the pardon, not a guarantee of a pardon. Celebrity and political connection work just the same as money in that regard.

Fauci is the worst pardon of them all. Like pardoning Goebbels and Hitler all in one.

Question I have is what are the particulars of these cases? Just a thought, seems the Democratic Party leadership has repeatedly used lawfare to attack Republicans that supported President Trump. Sometimes they used lawfare to attack and convict, sometimes they gave unreasonably harsh sentences. Not saying this is the case here but without facts I don't trust anything regarding incidents like this.
We really need to rewrite our laws concerning libel and slander.

Simple answer. If they had actual facts supporting their talking points from Blue Sky, then they would have already been shared.

It's the MO of these weekly "OMG muh pardons for sale" to include details about the supposed money involved, the crime and the sentence then be woefully silent regarding what was included in the petition / application for pardon.

Frankly I have grown tired of looking them up myself and again and again seeing that what was presented as "fact" on here is nothing but one side of the story with inconvenient facts omitted. Much like MSM.

The Clintons reinvented pay-for-pardon. Pelosi perfected insider trading. Biden redefined lawfare.

The Dems open Pandora's box on a regular basis, but only complain when Republicans (unsurprisingly) eventually join in. Please, don't even start with the both sides bull*****

Biden's Autopen pardoned:

1.) All the people who orchestrated Russia Gate, a direct attempt to ursurp the sitting Presudent of the United States

2.] All the people who helped develop a virus that killed millions of people.

Biden's DOJ was notoriously used to prosecute people along political lines.

He will then have to pardon himself for running for a third term!

Seriously though, he will pardon himself for any and all potential crimes from June 14, 1946 through Jan 21, 2029. It's the right thing to do.

My outrage at how many pardons Trump makes for whatever reason falls flat when I compare it to the Autopen Presidency and how my voice was silenced from 2020 until 2025.

I agree with you one persons corruption should be excused if someone else is also corrupt. Makes perfect sense.

They're just trying to deflect from their foot soldiers raiding federal vehicles, assaulting bystanders, violating the FACE act, and committing Klu Klux Klan felonies.

But please keep pushing how bad Orange Man is. It's absolutely not a losing topic compared to Somaliapolis

It boils down to choice. I am saying I'd rather suffer Trump buffoonery than Kamala Harris tyranny. No one offered a viable alternative choice and Lyndon LaRouche or Green party guy wasn't gonna win so don't mention either.
