LRAD is not some new tech. In this operation there is no concern about hurting the opponent so Delta can crank it up all the way. LRADs will mess you up if not used with constraint.

Makes perfect sense. Peace through superior firepower. Why not reveal during a Maduro takeover? We don't need to keep that tech a secret. If the technology has been revealed in a movie... it can, did, or will happen. Think all those 70s+ movies.

If the Maduro mission failed, the US would loose basically all influence in the western hemisphere. Trump could threaten all he wants and nobody would care. In fact, they would laugh at him.

Delta Force always has the latest and greatest technology. The SAS has publicly admitted that Delta Force has surpassed them due to our ability to provide whatever technology we can think of.

There has been technology like this used for crowd dispersal. It's not super secret or anything. It would not surprise me at all if something like this was used

Not military, so can't comment on whether it's right or not, but was reading on another place that it was probably pressure from thermobaric grenades, and that we have had them since our first sandbox expedition.
