It's like any other state. Once you get outside of the blue urban area, the country folks are good people. Just like those you'd find in rural Texas, Illinois, and upstate New York.

It's an urban vs. rural cultural battle, with the suburbs caught in the middle.

I have a family member (from TX) in Minneapolis right now helping a friend recover from surgery. Says all the news up there is stating the ICE officer shot the lady while she was fleeing. Also, University of Minnesota had a high level meeting to discuss how ICE was traumatizing the people they serve.

Over half of Minnesota's population lives in the twin cities. And the twin cities are trying to compete with Portland on who is more liberal. We are lucky in Texas to have so much rural population or we would be screwed too by Austin, Houston, and Dallas metro popullation.
