Agree, it is free enterprise. Which also means McD customers are free to voice their displeasure with McD over their treatment of LEO's.

Except when it comes to handicap ramps, wheelchair accessible tables, and toilets because that's under federal jurisdiction. There's no legal option to refuse service to handicap people, right?

Actually they have a document called the US Constitution that says they very much can stop people from going in certain places of private property without a warrant. That is why when businesses are raided by the police/FBI they show up with a warrant and then they are free to enter those places called for in the warrant.

I see a lot of people on F16 no longer believe in the US Constitution or haven't read and it.

Looks like a lot of people in this thread didn't bother to actually read the notice.

It doesn't say LEO can't come in and order a Quarter Pounder and fries. It says they can't come in and perform a search without a valid warrant.

Much like the nutritional value of a Big Mac, this is a nothingburger.

To enter private property, LE needs a warrant or a Judicially Recognized Exception, such as an exigent circumstance.

Even ICE /DHS needs a judicial warrant for a search. That's a good thing.

ICE agents and other LE are allowed in the publicly accessible areas here, according to the sign.

McDonalds may own the property, but the franchisee is the leaseholder and can decide who does and who doesn't gets access.

I wish some reporter would ask the franchisee, since all LE is banned from the private areas, does this include if they're being robbed or held hostage, as long as the robbers stay in the private areas?

Wrong. Franchise owners are subject to the rules and regulations of the franchisee and the terms of the contract executed by both parties. Just ask any franchise owner, including food service, convenience store, and gas station franchise owner.
