So far only in some glass bottles. Is coca cola going to change to cane sugar in cans and plastic bottles? If so, when?
I hate tu. It's in my blood.

Does anyone remember back in the 80s when you could get a soda in a glass bottle with a styrofoam label for insolation? That was a quality way to enjoy a beverage.
I sure miss this...

It's odd that sugar choices are a political forum discussion, but I can't deny that yes, even sugar is politically divisive these days.
Seems like it's guaranteed to increase the price, eventually if not right away.
I'd like to see them take the opportunity to start selling the sugar free sodas cheaper to reflect that, rather than spreading the added cost across all the versions.

Part of the reason for this is that store brands are starting to make headway with real sugar colas. I don't drink a lot of cola, but when I do, it is almost always H-E-B pure cane sugar soda.
This is a competitive response to a market threat, nothing more.

Refined cans Sugar is just as bad for you as corn syrup.

Guess what? Whether you sweeten soda with cane sugar or HFCS is irrelevant. Cane sugar breaks down into fructose and glucose in an acidic environment.

Yep, I was going to post the same video. The phosphoric acid renders the type of sugar irrelevant after an hour
