Loved that show, one of the few that I watched beginning to end and I don't remember a bad episode.

Just finished in the theater. Was everything I wanted to see and more. I thought it did the series justice. Felt like an extension of the series all these years later.

Likely going to see it today in the theater. Did they have subtitles? It wasn't until season 2 that I realized how necessary they were for my viewing pleasure and I typically hate subtitles.

No, my wife actually said the same thing "man I wish they had subtitles" lol

It's because they speak English, English...

Just got done seeing it. I may be biased as it is one of my top 5 shows of all time but I thought it was freaking awesome. The music throughout was phenomenal as well.

It was so well done imo that someone who has never even seen the show could have watched that as a stand alone film and not been totally lost and enjoyed it.

Highly recommend (although I still could have used the subtitles).

Can you elaborate on what was out of character for Tommy without spoilers? I thought it was perfectly in line with his character given how the end of season six left off.

Ada is still one of the best parts of the show.

Not sure what I thought about the movie.

As a stand alone, it was a great flick. I liked the movie a lot. But it had very little to do with PB.

The last season had so much surrounding the govt, and Mosely, etc. that entire massive storyline was never resolved. Ada took over as MP?

It kind of bothered me that his son was passed the torch as the 'King'...but Tommy's own town hates him, and he's completely disconnected from the PB universe/family that we know. One of the cool things about this show, is how bad of a guy Tommy was, but how much his people/Birmingham loved him.

I liked the movie, but I still feel like the series ended with the last episode.

I think this movie mainly to set stage for new series that I think is supposed to happen.
