I'm hopeful too. While I loved the casting from the 80's live action film, the story was terrible. Still, Frank Langella was iconic as Skeletor.

I should convince my parents to go watch this with me. I was a huge fan as a kid and had a fairly impressive Heman action figure collection that included stuff like the castles, and aircraft. Very cool

The best news about Jared Leto as Skeletor is he's CGI.
Feels like Idris Elba is really slumming it as black man at arms.

The rest of the cast is an eye opener. Appearances by Fisto, Roboto (somehow voiced by Kristen Wiig), Ram-Man, Tri-Klops, and Trap Jaw.

The guy who played the Mountain in Game of Thrones is cast here as "Goat Man". Is Beastman no longer PC?


Needs to be a cameo of Mr. Strickland from BTTF reprising his role as the tough cop from the original MOTU with Dolph and Courtney Cox. Granted that guy is 94 years old, but still a badass I'm sure. I always loved when he got teleported into Eternia and starting Skeletor's troops.

I never got into He-Man as a kid. I was a Transformers 1a GI Joe 1b kid. I do remember the only He-Man character I ever had was this suction guy for some reason.



And truth be told, I was playing some real ass Google Russian roulette searching for "heman sucky guy".

Immediately after that they show him miserable at his desk and then talking to HR. Pretty clear double message there.
