You can now vote for Sia's $100,000 fan favorite award that they will announce live on air. I'm assuming Cirie is going to win it based on the slob job that the media has done on her since last week.

https://survivor50cbs.votenow.tv/

I have to decide if I'm voting Devens or Hubicki.

So does this mean we got a side game for bonus points if we vote & our fan favorite wins the $100,000?

Asking for a friend....

I'm in the running. and no. hell no.

My mil, wife and daughter would love if it were Colby.

Never seen a 74 year old, 52 year old, and 18 year old salivate over the same man.

Dang it, I just shared the fan vote link w/Mrs and as she was scrolling the head shots she said "Oh, I forgot about Colby...."

This week's episode of 48 Hours was about Joe's sister's death in 2011. He has talked about it before, on his first season.

Her death was ruled a suicide, but it wasn't thoroughly investigated, and her husband, who was a cultish-Baptist preacher had an extensive history of domestic abuse - going back to when they were in high school.

It was a great episode, and really softened me on Joe.

I think the edit is going Aubrey's way but if she doesn't win immunity I don't know how they don't vote her out at final five. Things get interesting if Tiff wins final immunity though

You don't think they'll gun for Tiff at 5 after they were so focused on getting her out at 6? Her winning immunity at the last challenge seems like would heighten their paranoia further about her winning. She's won three immunities since the merge - including the partner one with Joe - and nearly won a fourth before they took it away from her because of her foot not being lifted.

Looking on Wiki, she also hasn't received a single Tribal Council vote since the took out Dee on Episode 7.

Even crazier, neither Joe nor Jonathan has received a single vote THE ENTIRE GAME.

If Aubry or Tiff win immunity, I have to think they'd be pushing hard to vote out the other. I can't see any of the guys winning if either of them are in the final, and I think they both know that.

I'd give the edge to Aubry over Tiff if somehow they both make FTC, but that seems really unlikely to happen. What could be interesting is if neither Aubry nor Tiff make FTC and we're left with the 3 guys. In that scenario, I'd say Jonathan has had the best game and best jury management. Can't see Rizo or Joe getting more than a vote or 2.

I think you're overestimating Jonathan's pull with the jury. I get the feeling a lot of them don't like him for whatever reason. The question is would they set that aside and vote for him anyways. I'm not so sure about that. I feel like everyone likes Rizo, and if he's in the final three with them, it might just be unanimous.
One advantage Rizo has is no one got to see his game except for Savannah. Whatever intel she could share about him went away once she was voted out.

Perhaps re: Jonathan. I think if both girls are gone then the jury is left with a bunch of not great options. Agreed that people seem to like Rizo, but wondering how intense the scrutiny will be on his game. My perception is that he's just kind of been there but hasn't done anything particularly noteworthy, but maybe they see it differently

I agree with Htown. If it's somehow Rizo, Jonathan, and Joe, Rizo will destroy the two of them as he lays out all of his moves along with the fact that they never flushed his idol and his secret ally with Cirie and Ozzy. He'd have easy votes from all the people that favor strategy over brawn - Devens, Christian, Emily, Aubry, Cirie, Dee - that's 6 already.

I think the one thing that hurts Rizo is a lot of the jury seemed really annoyed at his lack of help around camp. Also for a $2m prize they aren't going to want to give it to a "kid". He is a year younger than when Dee won but the way he carries himself is like an 18 year old band nerd. I think it was the Pod Has Spoken but they wondered of the jury would be afraid to give hik $2m amd he ends up on the front cover of the news due some drug overdose or something. I think that os a little dramatic but i can see a world where they care about Rizo so much they dont the money to go to his head

I do agree though that Rizo in FTC would be great if he was next to Joe and Jonathan. But he would need to really sell it

Apparently, many of the contestants in their exit interviews have talked about how malnourished Rizo was towards the end of the game. Playing back to back within weeks took a toll. I don't think they are as annoyed as you think they are.

In Cirie's exit interview she basically said no one respected Joe or Jonathon's games and they did not see them as a threat which is why the two are still there. Next to no chance either of them win against the other three.

I am concerned that Tribal Council Joe is going to have PTSD to this moment, where Kamilla and Kyle pulled my favorite final episode move in a long, long time.

He was absolutely malnourished but we also have a confessional from Rizo where he basically said I came to play survivor not play camp.

I just saw some pre-finale pics of the cast on Reddit.

Charley, you will like Dee's outfit.

Be careful though. If you inspect some of the photos, you could draw some "spoilery" conclusions.

I'm thinking

5th: Tiffany
4th: Rizo loses fire

3rd: Joe - 1 vote
2nd: Jonathan - 3/4 votes
1st: Aubrey - 6/7 votes

No worries, Reddit is not my dojo. I'll do all the final points tonight late.

I'll try to get with the winner tomorrow or Friday and see if they want the prize money or a Cameo video.

Man I can't believe it's almost over.

So most think that the viewers will vote to have the fire comp?
CharleyKerfeld
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have no gauge but my own, but fire seems pretty popular and fair because a lot of great players over the years were knocked out at 4, before fire-making became a thing. and it sucks to get that far and have it all decided by a lone immunity.

A few notables 4ths pre-fire making era according to Gemini

Tom Buchanan
Rupert in First All-Stars
Ian - the guy who hung tough with Tom the Fireman
Cirie at Panama
Yau-Man
Ozzy in South Pacific
Malcolm in the PHilippines
Spencer - who I thought was the same person as Charlie for quite a while
Keith - the ultimate Redneck Survivor

Plus when fire goes poorly, it's golden.

It's also given us some quite memorable moments. Even though it had a lot of controversy, season 38 with Chris Underwood putting himself in fire against Rick devens was an insanely epic move at the time

Very true, for all of Devens earth-shattering moves, Chris really used that loophole to his advantage.

He sat with the jury for X days, all day long. played a different game, then won immunity and fire.

He won the game fairly, but i think he played a different game than everyone else.

I tried to get a Dee cameo to roast you losers. It was turned down for some reason.

I paid extra for extended wording to write my own roasts for her, got rejected last weekend. Don't know if she was busy or didn't like my directions. It was all clean survivor jokes.

The jokes were:

If y'all were:
A blue shirt, Jeff would leave you hanging in the closet
An advantage, you would one in the urn, for yourself.
An action item, a nasty grub worm

Coach would say your core values are pathetic and loser

You're edit would be misspelling names, staring at me during tribal, crying , more staring.

You would give me your immunity necklace and get blindsided.

Coach wouldn't give you a nickname. If he did, it would be stupid. To clarify, he would literally call you "stupid" while knighting you.

You could annoy Rizo.

You would call Probst "uncle J" and think you were edgy.
