57 degrees in the Fort.

Pull tires and load trucks.

-Terrible night. Dog would not stop barking at the storm. I finally let her get in the bed and that helped a little but not for long.
-I think I shut the bedroom door around 2:45AM (with her in here) and she never barked again. Definitely will try that again much sooner next time. She goes into living room to bark.
-Meetings and writing annual reviews.
-I need a nap and I haven't even made it out of bed yet.

Do the day.

7/11 has a promo right now if you text ALLIN to 711711 you get 50 cents off per gallon on the 7th and 11th(today) of each month. It's a good deal if you have one close. I saw it on the pump the other day and didn't know if anyone actually reads what they put up, I usually don't. It ends after July 11th so it will be active for a couple more months.

-already a hectic day
-had to go back into the house 3 times for things I had forgotten

Our little dog did better than expected with the storm last night. I didn't have to bring him to bed. The Aussie never gets upset about it.

I did have to take the little dog outside on Friday night when the wedding venue in the area started launching fireworks. He does better hearing them outside than inside.

Because a good Monday might not start with laundry but it does start with good coffee.

Not nearly enough sleep last night due to how loud and bright that storm raged!

Stayed up thru part of it and binged Young Sheldon on Hulu. The grandmother cracks me up! I'm pretty sure they based her on one of my aunts.

Knocked out some lingering stuff from the list this morning.

Only two scheduled meetings today. One of them should be good.

People have already made poor decisions today. And are a bit whiny.

- stayed up too late so kinda tired
- went home at lunch to take a nap
- gf is mad at me because I didn't take her out for queso and chispas yesterday for Mothers Day (this was a mistake)
- I told her she isn't my mother. I have a mother and spent the afternoon with her. (apparently this was also a mistake)
- I might end up having chispas and queso by myself tonight

Surgery Wednesday morning. I've had one surgery in my life. I'm absolutely F***ING HORRIFIED of needles. When they tried to put in the IV, I started hyperventilating and had two veins collapse. I also used some pretty vulgar language towards the person trying to insert the needle. With this memory in mind, I called my doctor's office just now and left a voice mail requesting "something along the lines of a jumbo valium" upon arrival.

However... I'm tired of being unable to walk well and am ready to start healing.

I have to be under the care of a "responsible adult" for 24 hours after surgery. 17 year old Benny will have to do. He's actually been great at helping me out since I've been hurt.

I was not a fan of needles. I would give blood but I could never watch them tap the vein or look at the blood going into the bag.

When I got sick, my world became needles on a regular basis. I got over it.

You can do this. It's one surgery. And once they get the needle in and administer the anesthesia you'll forget the whole thing!

Don't sweat it. You are gonna get thru this fine.
