Scanning the results I see a Jalen Lott finished 2nd in 4A high jump and long jump. Just did a search and looks like he is indeed the son of James Lott from Refugio. Won an NCAA high jump championship and played football for t.u.

I jumped against him in the Texas Relays in high school. It was a cold night and in the ultimate power move he won the competition wearing sweat pants. Then he took his sweat pants off and jumped 7' 2.5".

They're gonna be outstanding All Americans for 4 years here! Not sure if Bendet will race again in the summer, but I hope she can go to a national meet in June! She cruised to some victories today and all postseason in 3A! She can easily go sub 2:05 and get close to 4:40 in the mile! They're stars!
