While a few of our distance athletes are competing in Raleigh, the majority of our team is in Baton Rouge. This is a star studded meet with very high very high competition, the opposite of last week! Schools like USC, LSU, Baylor, Arizona State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss State, and others will be here!

This will also be the outdoor debut for many Aggies who didn't compete the first week, primarily the Aggies who competed at indoor nationals! We'll see a strong group in the 400, Sam Whitmarsh and Caden Norris in the 800, Auhmad Robinson in the 200, JaQualon Scott in the 110 hurdles, as well as Jaiya Covington in the hurdles, Camryn Dickson in the 200, and Jasmine Montgomery in the 100! There will also be a few distance runners here, rather than in Raleigh! Sofia Yakushina and Blake Harris will be entered in a lot of events so it'll be fun to see what they do!

I expect lots of fast times and makes this weekend! It's very early in the outdoor season, but we can make our mark and get some top marks in the west preliminary standings! The competition will help, so let's get after it! Sorry for starting this later than usual, but I'll be active all weekend!

Not quite a Q for NCAA Prelims. Need another second or two. Boy, our distance history isn't great.

Yeah I think she'll easily drop that time!! I don't even wanna think what it'll take right now, but I'm sure we'll even see lots under 4:10! And us being in the west with Oregon, Washington, BYU, NAU, the distance events will be a challenge! But I'm excited, I'm hoping she can get under 4:15, I'm sure we'll get a couple steeplers, and Megan Roberts into the prelims, the distance events will be fun to follow!
