Figure they will not block F1TV otherwise the Lapz app developed for Vision Pro would not work.
I am fine with the change since I already have Apple TV+ thru the Apple One plan. Maybe Apple will not treat F1 coverage as an afterthought like ESPN does.

I'm curious if they will invest to send proper broadcast crews to races around the world. I could almost see them sending a pit lane reporter and then do commentary from a studio based in the states and call it good.
Or they could just take the easy way out and just rebroadcast either sky or f1tv.

I hate to see it go to Apple because I don't have their service and I'm not looking to add another. I already had ESPN. The sky broadcast was fine and I'm not sure I want to go without Crofty.
I agree. Apple took over MLS broadcasting and I think it has really killed viewing numbers to the casuals. If they put F1 behind another yearly subscription, the casual fan will stop watching.

That's my assumption as well, since they are bidding on what ESPN currently has the rights for.
Super annoying as don't have Apple TV and don't really want to add it.
T-Mobile gives you Apple TV for free every year, along with basic Netflix, Hulu, and the full MLB plan if you happen to watch another team where you don't live.

They actually have a free 90 day esim trial, which is what sold me. Being able to use their services for free too make sure I wouldn't hate it

Jak Crawford could be a sleeper pick. American, currently second in the F2 driver championship, reserve driver for Andretti Formula E, obviously a cheaper option than Bottas.
There's also Ugo Ugochuku , Brad Benivides, Juan Manuel Correa, and one more I think.

So not many. If Cadillac really wanted an American they should probably start with some veterans and get whoever they have identified to drive FP1s and TPCs.

I mean, I listed like 4 options above. 3 have current F2 drives and are doing relatively well. If Cadillac wants an American driver, there's decent ones to choose from.
If I was Cadillac I would get in and start supporting Sebastian Wheldon since he is still young and doing really well in Italian F4. I don't see him repeating F4 next year so next up to him is a move to FRECA and hopefully with Prema as they are still a top team there (unlike F2 and F3).
No offense to Crawford but the reality is F2 is such a strange championship to look at most of the time due to the mechachrome'd moments or drivers making insane moves, hence why F1 TPs didn't really give a damn when Ollie Bearman and Kimi Antonelli were doing bad most of the season last year, they signed them instead based on what they showed throughout their junior series career. Crawford is P2 but he ain't better than Dunne, Browning, Lindblad, Martins, Mini, Beganovic. Same thing about Verschoor who is P1, he's been there for like 4 years already.

Regarding streaming services, it doesn't hurt to google for coupon codes.
I've done this for those that I actually pay for when my contracts come up. Sites will pop up offering multiple options that you will just have to plug and try. After 10-15 minutes I've found codes that will work and have gotten annual plans for both Peacock and Apple+ for $20 each. Softens the blow quite a bit.
